MCE Requirements:

Licensees must complete 15 hours
of MCE courses which includes the
TREC mandatory 3 hours of legal
and 3 hours of ethics.

An
MCE course is required every 2
years after fulfilling your SAE
classes.
Spencer Online Students
Make sure that you leave yourself
plenty of time to complete your
on-line course prior to your
expiration.
Pay your TREC fees first class or
on-line course second and
fingerprinting (if applicable)
third.
Background Check Fee for
Renewals
- All licensees who have been
fingerprinted for TREC will
eventually have to pay an
additional fee for a subsequent
background check when renewing
their licenses. Licensees who were
fingerprinted for a 2008 renewal,
application or late renewal, and
whose current license expiration
is March 31, 2009 or thereafter,
must pay the renewal fee and an
additional fee (currently $19.25)
for a subsequent background check
to renew the license. Renewal fees
will be returned to licensees who
submit incorrect fee amounts and
the license will expire if the
correct amount is not timely
received.
